Something not working, or a Clean Cut that missed a line? Email support@tychelabs.net and tell us what you were doing, which iPhone or iPad you have and what happened. That's usually enough to sort it out in one reply.
I bought Pro and it hasn't appeared
Open the app's Settings and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with. If it still doesn't appear, email us with the date of purchase and we'll look into it.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: on your device go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Cuefold Pro. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
Clean Cut didn't find some of my lines
Clean Cut matches what you said against your script, so read the lines as written and speak clearly. Lines it couldn't match fully are marked "check this line" — swipe the line to hear your other reads and pick the one you want.
Speech recognition runs on your device, so it needs the speech model for your language. If Cuefold says it isn't available, check that your device's language is supported and that you have space for the model to download.
Why is there a Cuefold logo on my video?
Free exports carry a small Cuefold watermark in the corner. Cuefold Pro removes it from every export, including takes you recorded before you upgraded.
The script isn't showing on my iPhone Duo's outer screen
The outer-screen prompter appears while your iPhone Duo is open, Cuefold is full screen on the inner display, and the recording screen is showing. Use the rear camera and read from the outer screen. iOS can take the outer screen away at any time; your place in the script is kept.
Can I move my scripts and takes to a new device?
Yes — everything is included in your device backup. Restore the new device from that backup and your scripts and takes come with it. There is no account and no cloud sync, so a fresh install on a new device starts empty.
Do you collect any of my data?
Your videos, your voice and your scripts stay on your device. Version 1.0 sends nothing at all. From version 1.0.1 (October 2026), the only thing Cuefold can send us is anonymous usage data (which features you use, and when something goes wrong), and only if you agree, or in the US unless you turn it off. Cuefold Settings → Usage data turns it off or deletes it. See the privacy policy for the full detail.
